First, thank you for your support of The Permian Fuels America’s petition to reduce the amount of excess foreign oil imports into the United States. We are pleased to report that in the last week of November 2020, the US had the LOWEST oil import levels from Saudi Arabia in the last thirty years! There are so many influencing factors that caused this to happen. We hope our efforts to shine a light on the situation at all levels of the government and inform the public of the negative impacts to the United States, played some small part in the decline. But our work isn’t over. Just this week there was an increase in the import numbers but nothing like we saw in the spring of this year.

It is our intention to stay vigilant in monitoring the foreign oil imports and communicating to all when things begin to shift substantially with a negative impact to the Permian Basin. We have much work to do to create systematic ways to always limit and control the amount of foreign imports to what our domestic refineries need, not the excess that was dumped in the US this Spring. We appreciate your initial support and hope you will continue to support our efforts as we fight for the oil and gas industry’s independent producers and the United States’ energy independence. We believe the country needs corporate Independents and energy Independence to thrive. We hope YOU do too. You can continue to learn more and support the cause at, and on Facebook, Twitter and Linked In under the same name, The Permian Fuels America.

Many thanks,
Kirk Edwards
